About The Program
The Mahindra EmpowerHer Scholarship Program 2025–26 is an initiative by Mahindra & Mahindra Limited under its corporate social responsibility (CSR) mission. The scholarship aims to empower young girls from financially weaker backgrounds by providing educational support. It covers meritorious students from Class 9 to 12 and undergraduate to postgraduate courses in general disciplines across India.
Beyond financial aid, the program seeks to inspire young women to excel academically and contribute positively to their communities, fostering a culture of education, independence, and empowerment.

Eligibility Criteria
- Open to girl students studying in Classes 9–12 or pursuing undergraduate/postgraduate courses in general disciplines (B.A., B.Sc., B.Com, M.A., M.Sc., M.Com, etc.).
- Applicants must have secured at least 50% marks in their previous class or academic year.
- Postgraduate applicants must have secured a minimum of 70% marks.
- The annual family income should not exceed ₹4,00,000.
- Open to students from all regions across India.
- Preference will be given to students from marginalised communities (PwD/SC/ST/OBC, etc.).
- Children of employees of Mahindra & Mahindra are not eligible.
Benefits
- Each selected scholar will receive a fixed scholarship award of ₹5,500.
- Support for tuition fees, study materials, and other academic expenses.

- Recent passport-sized photograph
- Current admission proof (Admission Letter/Institution ID Card)
- Previous academic year mark sheet
- Class 10 & 12 mark sheets (if applicable)
- Proof of family income (ITR, salary slip, or certificate from authority)
- Receipts for educational expenses (tuition/hostel/books)
- Proof of identity (Aadhaar, Ration Card, etc.)
- Bank passbook (applicant’s account)
- Caste/disability certificate (if applicable)
