The Vidyadhan–Gomabai Degree Scholarship 2025, an initiative of the Sarojini Damodaran Foundation (SDF), supports meritorious students from economically disadvantaged families pursuing full-time undergraduate degree programs across India. Selected candidates will receive up to INR 75,000 per year and access to mentorship and training programs to help them achieve academic and personal growth.
About the Program
The Vidyadhan–Gomabai Degree Scholarship 2025 is part of the Vidyadhan program under the Sarojini Damodaran Foundation (SDF), a Shibulal Family Philanthropic Initiative. It aims to provide financial assistance and mentorship to bright students from low-income families pursuing higher education in India. Under this program, selected students will receive up to INR 75,000 per year for their degree courses.
In addition to financial support, scholars participate in structured training and mentoring programs that help them develop essential academic, professional, and life skills.
About SDF Vidyadhan and Gomabai
Vidyadhan, a Shibulal Family Philanthropic Initiative, collaborates with Gomabai Netralaya to support meritorious students from Rajasthan and the districts of Neemuch and Mandsaur in Madhya Pradesh. Managed by the Sarojini Damodaran Foundation (SDF) — established in 1999 by Kumari Shibulal and S. D. Shibulal (Co-founder & ex-CEO, Infosys) — the foundation focuses on education, livelihood, and community development.
Scholarship Details

Eligibility
- Open for students from Rajasthan, Neemuch (MP), or Mandsaur (MP) districts.
- Applicants must be pursuing regular full-time undergraduate degree programs in India.
- Must have completed Class 10 and 12 from Rajasthan or the specified MP districts.
- Minimum 75% marks or 7.89 CGPA in Class 12 (for students with disabilities – minimum 65% or 6.84 CGPA).
- Annual family income must be less than INR 3,00,000.
- Students must have taken admission in a degree course in the 2025–26 academic session.
- Part-time or correspondence courses are not accepted. A study gap of up to 2 years is allowed.
