The Yuva Sathi Yojna (2026) is designed to bridge the financial gap for educated youth who are actively seeking employment. By providing a monthly stipend, the state government aims to alleviate the costs associated with job applications, travel for interviews, and vocational training materials.

Detailed Eligibility Criteria

To ensure the benefits reach the most deserving candidates, the following criteria must be met:

  • Domicile of West Bengal (Permanent Resident)
  • Age must be between 21 and 40 years
  • Passed Madhyamik or equivalent from a recognized board
  • Must be enrolled in the Employment Exchange (recommended)
  • Annual family income must fall below the specified state ceiling
  • Not a beneficiary of Yuvashree or other similar unemployment doles

Visit the official ‘Banglar Yuva Sathi’ portal or your nearest Block/Municipality camp to collect the application form.

Step 2: Form Filling

Complete the form in block letters. Ensure your Bank Account is linked to your Aadhaar for smooth DBT processing.

Step 3: Submission & Scrutiny

Submit the form at the designated camp. Officials will perform on-the-spot verification of your original documents.

Step 4: Final Approval

The District Magistrate’s office reviews the verified list. Successful applicants will receive a confirmation SMS on their registered mobile number.

⚠️ Important Notice: Selected beneficiaries must submit a “Self-Declaration” every six months to confirm they are still unemployed and qualify for the assistance. Failure to do so may result in the suspension of payments.
